Elemental Analysis

Elemental analysis of carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen is most essential in elucidation and confirmation of structure of organic compounds. Some times it is the only investigation performed to characterize or prove the elemental composition of compounds. Samples containing Fluorine, Phosphate, heavy metals and aggressive chemicals, acids alkaline solutions, solvents, explosive materials that can create explosive gases, can not be analysed. SAIF CDRI has the facility to determine Carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulphur and oxygen percent in the compounds.

SAIF, CDRI has a one elemental analyzer given below
  • Elemental Analyser: EuroVector
  • Elements : C, H, N, S and /or O
  • Detection Limit : 0.1 to 1 Micro gm (depending upon element)
